Shake it

So I'm not really that into spending my time blogging. Even though I was sick and didn't play games sort of hard to blog with a throbbing headache. Luckily for me it just lasted like two days.

I never thought I'd feel the earth move under my feet but it happened. Actually more like the floorboard of my room. It didn't happen in Box Hill but it was strong enough to feel so hopefully wherever the epicentre is isn't too badly damaged. It isn't the first time that I was in the vicinity of an earthquake though.
It had been awhile since I'd been back to Taiwan so a holiday was in order. Coincidentally it was during the Jiji earthquake / 921 earthquake which measured 7.3. Fortunately was residing in a older building built during times of constant earthquakes in Taiwan so was made with shifting foundation ... so I was told XD. However I was asleep during the quake so didn't really notice it. I did wake and look out the window at the commotion outside but without my glasses so I just went back to sleep. Next morning find out that there's no electricity and so we are stuck in Taiwan with no electronics ... that's just wrong. So finding stuff to do was a pain. My brother and I started with cards for quite awhile much so that we missed noticing the 5.3 aftershock. Then that got boring so we walked around and found a mini basketball set. We started off playing friendly but it got pretty ugly and I was left with bent glasses and my brother a crack in his skull :S. So he had to get it stitched up in the dark. Also there was a small pool of blood left where we were playing ... so it wasn't much of a trip :P.

So all that and I don't experience an earthquake till now.

Then again a shudder isn't much either XP.

The New meets the Old

Okay this post might be a little boring but what the heck its my blog. I didn't know this but apparently people still make games for the NES. If you don't know what that is it is the Nintendo console that is older than me ... coincidentally I'm twenty three on tomorrow so that makes the Australia Nintendo Entertainment System roughly twenty four. The interesting thing is that one of the new games that some geek who can't get over the NES made was ... *drum roll* ...

'D+Pad Hero'.

Great I go and get Guitar Hero: World Tour and they go and release something I could of just played on my own NES ><. Just joking around. There's some interesting list of songs you can find here. So anyways here's a screenshot from the game.




If you have an emulator you can download the game and have a go. I'm just going to go back to playing World Tour.

It's Funny and True

I like webcomics and some are quite funny so I've decided to post some of them. Some might be old and most of them will be about games (figures) so might be hard to understood. The thing is you probably should play the game first to understand the joke but guess this ones still funny.

Haunting Past

So it's been five days and I haven't touched a game. I had planned on going to the arcade to play games but then I found out I had finally started shedding skin. Not the best time to go out when I'm shedding. So another day without games. What to write about ... well I'm sick so I need to rest a bit so here's something quick that I wrote in the past.

Life is tough. I don't know what I am to do about myself. My life is on the brink of madness but it is also on the edge of opportunities. But life is a risk and I don't know if I could take any more risks. My life is fragile, weak, I don't know what I have become. Everyday is the same, the long tiresome journey to find that you must travel that same old journey day after day. Is there no ending to such pain. The world I knew is crumbling, like it never existed. Life has no meaning, so what is there to live for? There is no ending to this misery. Cruel, cruel world, when will you end? My life is falling apart. People around me are slowing fading into memories, then they are soon forgotten. I will be soon forgotten by the living world and consumed by the darkness. The endless darkness. Which is better? A living painful world, or a dead unending darkness? There is really no difference between the two. Both are endless sorrowful worlds.

It was a draft email but was never completed and deserted in 2003. A few theory about why it was written range from sick joke to suicidal crisis. Whatever it was it's something to read XD.
