Blasting

Well it's been awhile since I last blogged so I thought I'd do a quickie ... maybe longer if I am bothered.

Just "cleaned" my room a bit because people coming over. When people come over it means I have to actually do the annual work of cleaning my room. I usually just shove stuff to one corner but I to tend to throw that odd empty bottle of juice out (if you don't know what this is referring to be very afraid) and sort through my pile of game boxes. It sometimes ends up quite clean. But just wait a day and its back to its previous mess. That's why I don't bother cleaning it usually.
Guitar Hero - World Tour is great and it has a drum which is quite the new concept other than DK Bongos ... anyhow the only problem is where to put that giant box? My cousins moved out so no ones using the guest room so I thought while I was cleaning I'd move it there. The moment I leave the box, my mum happens to need the room and makes a fuss on why I put the box there in her way (mothers ...) ... So I move it an inch outside the room and supposedly its in a better place now. I have a lot of trouble with boxes from new computer case boxes to gaming console boxes. A majority of my room is box space if you look carefully. Anyways lately most of it has thankfully moved to the garage so my rooms abit more free ... to get messy.

Ok getting long but I guess this is what I get for not posting for awhile.

Beached again. I know. No I didn't get sunburnt. The sun was basically gone but just in case I used some sunscreen. Weirdest stuff I've ever used though. This stuff seriously looked and smelled like hairgel. For a minute or so I debated whether someone had replaced the sunscreen with hairgel or not and whether I was going to dare put this stuff on me. My friend laughed at me and told me not to blame him this time for getting sunburnt (yes its the same guy as last time). As soon as I used it I realized it wasn't hairgel because it rubbed away (try rubbing hairgel away ...). So I swam while my friend waded abit then went back on shore to sunbake in the ever dying sun. It was pretty cool watching the sunset and coincidentally a fish jumped in front of the sun just as it set XD (where's my camera when I need it ><). Even though I was swimming by myself overall it was relaxing and great experience.

Bunch of forty degree days coming along so people slip slop slap or suffer the consequences ><.

The Controversial Holiday

I was thinking of just blabbing about mX's excessive articles on blogs and the physical and mental damage of smoking but its the first day of the Australia/Chinese New Year long holiday so I thought I'd write something about this event.

Box Hill decided to pull all the stops this year. They blocked off a section of Whitehorse Road for more stands and even set up an amusement park in a carpark at the back of Centro. I didn't get to Box Hill till the evening but the sun was still out because of summer so it was still alright to move around. However it was still crowded and if that didn't make it hard to move from one stand to another there were lots of prams and strollers ramming into the back of my heels. One parent even continuously ram me and seemed to have no idea what he was actually doing with his stroller. There were lots of kids and at these events that meant lots of balloons. Every time you look up you could see a lost balloon floating away and hear the crying of a child.
The stands were the usual. Lots of food stands that are overpriced for Asian food that I've probably had at home but I guess it's the convenience of having them all in one place. I had some food using my money sparingly but ended up buying a double beef and cheese from Maccas instead XD. There were also the usual Asian Christian, Asian DVDs, Lion Dancing, and the Arts and Craft stands. There were a few different ones like ice cream vans, NAB booth, Toy vans, and some Whitehorse council runner with the name Blake I think. Didn't go into the amusement park section because I assumed it would involve me losing a lot of money. I was glad to see that they finally put bins every ten metres apart around Box Hill just for this event. They filled up pretty quickly but if they only have the regular bins then we'd be in trouble.

Round the middle of that paragraph I was interrupted to go see Underworld: Rise of the Lycans which turned out to be pretty good. Still lately been interrupted a lot so my blogs get pushed further and further back.

But actually came back to Box Hill at midnight for dinner and found it still lively with a healthy dose of crowd still left. Some stands were closed and others opened to take their place but the night seemed to be wrapping up for most people. There were still some lion dancing and drumming which were loud enough to bug some people in the Box Hill residential area. The next morning it was like nothing happened XD.

And for some reason I am burnt again. I did go to the beach but it was partly cloudy and I had a shirt on the whole time. Thankfully this time wasn't as bad as last time. SOMEONE said it would be impossible to burn with the weather we had yesterday ... damn you ><. Wah didn't even get my point out because writing up this blog over and over. Australian holidays means people having days off and everything is closed. Chinese holidays means shop open to take in more customers who have the time to shop and eat. So how's a day that's both an Australian and Chinese holiday meant to work?

Bich?

I took a break from blogging. Also was out all day with nothing to write anyways. Something did happen yesterday.

It was around six when I had a phone call to go beach. It sounded like a plan because it was a hot day and like I was saying I didn't have much to do. However I was the first one called to go so had to wait to see if anyone else was going. It wasn't until eight when we left and the sun was already going down. Only three of us ended up going in one car. It would have been fine if we went to a close beach but the destination wasn't decided and we eventually ended up at Brighton beach because it was close to where one of us worked. By this time it was eight forty and the sun had just gone over the horizon.
There was still some light so we still went to the beach. It wasn't much of a beach because you could walk like twenty metres out and the water would still be knee deep and also there was no waves. The whole area was filled with people and their dogs which was pretty weird but then again the houses in the area were quite expensive and there was also boats lining the other side where there was a pier so guess they all can afford dogs. So all we ended up doing was walkin up and down the beach on land and water watching the lights and dogs. We spent a hour or so so it wasn't too bad.
After that we had kebabs and ice cream in St Kilda. Ice cream was from Cold Rock which was so worth waiting in a huge line for on such a warm evening. We took a walk up and down St Kilda road and just chatted, even chatted with some random motorcyclist who was walking back to his bike. Had quite a few random conversation topics. We dropped by Sidney Myer Music Bowl for no real reason and just watched the seagulls in the light of the Australia Open at Vodaphone Arena. So a day of weird places but overall fun.

On another note I'm feeling alot better XD.

Blood Rule

It's like I don't have enough problems already. Last night I was minding my business chatting on msn when *bang* my nose started bleeding. Well it didn't sound like a bang but it felt like something popped so errr yeah. Anyways for someone who's usually immune to sickness I've been unusually sick for the last week ><. The worse thing is its the worse kind of sicknesses together.

Currently the kinds of ailments are as follows, sunburn, boardrash, course throat, cold, and now blood nose.

Yeah I thought the blood nose thing was just one off but no it happened again this morning. Been told that blood noses happen if the body is too hot but come on, the air con was on full blast and this morning just didn't get that hot. But then again it did get up to high thirties yesterday and suppose to be thirty nine today (I so want to go to the beach even though that's how I got most of my ailments ...). So anyways that's added to my problems. Maybe I should go to the hospital or something. Was really hoping that at least one of my ailments was going to disappear.

So yet another day without games and another blog post that seem to get shorter and shorter XD. I'll try to brighten up my post when I'm feeling better :D.

Killing myself

Hi anyone who's come across this blog or whoever I've forced to read my annoying comments on my own life ... or other peoples lives XD. For someone who talks so much about shit all I never could figure out why I didn't have a blog of my own. But then it hit me. All my free time was used playing games ><. Guess that sort of thing is quite time consuming. Blogs also seems like quite a time consuming activity too. So question is why is Peter writing a blog posting instead of playing all his games??? Did Peter's house catch on fire destroying all his valuable games??? Did Peter lose the use of his hands so can't hold a controller to save his life (so how is he typing this post?)??? Or does this have to do with the title of this post which would probably mean this is some sort of suicide note??? Well wait a sec and I'll tell you about it.

Yes I know the title is abit morbid but hear me out. It all started Thursday night when I had a homemade pizza which my mom had made with her new pizza making gizmo. Straight after that I felt my throat clamming up so I'm guessing like most people would do I went and drank a few glasses of water. Figures with my luck it didn't help. So for the first time in like months I decide to got to sleep before the stroke of midnight.
The next morning was pretty much a mini hell. Throat was dry, nose was blocked (try breathing with those two problems), head was spinning, and it felt like I hadn't had a wink of sleep. So basically it felt like I couldn't breathe or think which are probably only things that make me certain I'm alive. Seeing how I couldn't really get up with my head spinning I tried to doze off for a bit longer. Midday and my head felt better so I was like great ... but now my brain can process the fact that I can't breathe properly. Thinking that if I tried to sleep I would probably wind up dead from lack of oxygen I opted to watch the woman's semi-finals. This is probably the only time I've ever watched a full game of tennis. After the game was over I tried to sleep some more until I had to make my way to youth group. By the time Youth group started I pretty much breathed normally except for a slight rasp in my voice. Like any good friend I accused a few people here and there as to who had given me this sickness but other than that Youth group went well and after some not so lengthy preparations, a trip to Torquay for surfing and fun was organized. Despite just getting better from that morning I couldn't pass off a chance to surf. In a sense I was trying to relive my youth XD which makes me sound old ... Being a lowly L-plater the easiest way to meet up was to crash at a friend's place so after we had a late dinner in my friendly neighborhood I dropped home and filled a bag with random things that I might need. Everything seemed well enough when I got to my friend's place and he even had a proper bed for me because I somewhat expected to sleep on a couch or floor.
The next morning arrived and it was the same as the previous morning. But this time I forced myself up and to my surprise most of the symptoms disappeared. Only the lack of sleep and the more raspier voice kept me remembering that I was sick. Even though we had organized to meet up at eight it wasn't until ten that everyone was present. The trip to Torquay was about two hours so I managed about and hour sleep. When we got there four of us grabbed longboards and most of the rest grabbed bodyboards. Everyone who got a board got a wetsuit except me. This turned out not to be the best idea. The decision was because I used to surf shortboards and with a shortboard one cannot get boardrash. Longboards are much easier to get on and is a lot softer. They also have a textured surface which means there is no need for wax. But this also means that the coarse surface causes boardrash. Its large size also means it takes some effort dragging them to the beach. Dragging the boards to the beach took awhile but worth it as we grabbed a decent spot in the crowds of people. I naturally took to the sea because there was someone already teaching the newbie surfers. Having a look at any opening in the sea of people it didn't look all that flash. Came back in to check on the other and then it was back out together to scope for a opening. We found a decent spot and it wasn't long before I got on my board. Weee I'm young again XD. Problem was that was probably the best ride of the whole day. I managed a few more times on the board but as the day went on the openings disappeared and a few collision happened here and there. Also the more times I got onto my board the more I could feel boardrash coming on. Thinking I could just put it off for a t-shirt later I surfed on. It was so peaceful between each wave as I lay on the board sunbathing (which also turned out not to be as good as it seemed). Once the boardrash set in I decided to head in for a t-shirt. It wasn't until I put it on that the pain was too much to bare surfing anymore. Thankfully I was satisfied with the surfing and it wasn't going to get any better with the number of people out there. When everyone was satisfied we travelled round Torquay to buy food for our barbeque. By this time I had somewhat lost my voice but just like me I refused to shutup. We had a great barbeque but the wind was so strong that it took out half of our cutlery and abit of the salad. After we finished of the rest of the night playing beach cricket until we couldn't even see the ball anymore. It was so fun. The night didn't finish there though. We went to the Melbourne Central to see Twilight. When we reached the city I realized I was literally burnt from head to heel on the back from lying on the surfboard. At the same time the boardrash seemed to have gotten worse ><. So we watched the movie in the halfpipe which wasn't very comfortable especially with the sunburn. Twilight wasn't as bad as some people made it out to be but it wasn't the best movie :P. So ending on that note when I got home I decided I was way to out of it to go to the church next day.
Somehow even with a burnt back and boardrashed stomach I managed afew hours sleep but was awoken by a phone call from people who wanted me to open up the church >< (why am I expected to be first at church). I slept abit more before I got some water to drink. My mom freaked out when she saw my sunburns and boardrash. She made such a ruckus about how I should look after myself *sigh* parents. Anyways got a few more hours of sleep by rolling back and forth keeping the pain spread thinly.

And now here I am. My arms are sore from both sunburn and overuse in surfing so I put off gaming and seeing how I haven't touched a game since Thursday I needed something to do. So came the birth of this blog.

Oh yeah so the titles basically about the self torture of myself XD. I'm still pretty badly off. Spread some vitamin E stuff so its just mildly hurts and I've finally decided not to talk so often if I don't need to. Hopefully a day or two and I'll be better. Anyways this post is long enough. Don't think I'll ever write something as long again. Hopefully it was a good read. If not then meh.

Post Happily.
